Who is the new CIA head, Gina Haspel

hate to say this but I feel like this happens often in cia and this was just the one time it was exposed. I may be wrong as I’m not too knowledgeable of what transpired then but while I hope it is never done again, I can understand that it was a very emotional time for America and we resorted to extremes to protect our country. However, to be honest I would prefer to have her as a CIA director rather than someone completely unqualified like all of trumps other nominations. I’m more worried about him choosing someone like Scott Pruitt, Ben Carson, Ronny Jackson, etc.. someone unqualified but loyal to trump and thus trump using cia for his own agenda. At least i think she cares about this country and will stand up to any unreasonable requests.

Haspel was there, in charge of sites where prisoners were tortured. Nobody should be okay with that.

Why President Obama was OK with that? He was well aware of the program and was regularly briefed on it. Senators were aware of the program as well. Why they were OK with the program for years?

But Brennon was OK with that. Obama administration was OK with that. Senate was OK with that. They all knew about the existence of the program.

I love Tom Cotton.... but, I want him to stay in Congress where he can be most effective.
And, Gina Haspel is eminently qualified. She will be voted in.
