So now Quick has tweeted that he was going to keep quiet for the sake of the show about this but that the truth will come out and that he cannot allow his character to be slandered because of a radio segment gone wrong that wasn't even set up by him.
And his wife has now tweeted that she's had a change of heart after learning that all 3 of them found out about the segment at the same time, right before the show yesterday. This directly contradicts what Quick said yesterday. Interested to see how this plays out. Because on the radio this morning Cathy Hughes expressed that what the brothers did yesterday was wrong and that Danni had been victimized and she made it sound like the cards were basically in Danni's hands and that she had some important decisions to make in the next 24 to 48 hours. And that's coming from the BIG boss. I wonder if firing Quick and 59 is being discussed. I can't tell, but based on what Cathy said and now hearing how Quick is changing up his story... i wonder. |

re: Steve Harvey show pranks
they do a prank call EVERY morning. the character (Tommy) that does the prank also has a line of CDs out, he pranks church people, celebrities, etc. They're really not that shocking (OR funny) and I get the feeling they are on the way out. Most are repeats. |

| They're not going to fire the main hosts because of one issue with Danni. They're just temporarily trying to save face with the female listeners. Danni blew a gasket because she's a damn drama queen who wasn't getting her way. I suspect she won't last much longer with the show though. |

I'm the person who posted this and it may not be true. After further questioning my friend who just told me this I'm not sure if the suspension was just for today or ongoing... we shall see on Monday morning. |

The female empowerment stuff was great but I think they’re going down the wrong path with shaming the guys on this. It wasn’t THAT big of a deal. No one tried to humiliate her, they’re learning that the second you don’t side with danni, she turns the tables. Bye bye quick |

Actually, if you listened to the ladies this morning they specifically said this is not about shaming and Cathy Hughes talked about how Danni herself has spoken up for them and their character and that she (Danni) loves those brothers. They did their best to not make it into a bashing session and encouraged others to focus on the topic of sister empowerment/support and making today a Women's international day do-over. Cathy did say what they did was wrong, but that was the extent of "bashing" for lack of a better word. Now social media on the other hand, Quick and 59's twitter comments are in shambles. They are certainly being raked over the coals in social media land. |
