I get that you aren't thrilled with your IB, but please make sure you are up for the commute to these schools. I am at one of them (we live close, thankfully, but we ranked our preferences based on proximity) and get really annoyed at the parents who complain about the commute.

Would you say this if the previous poster was not from East of the River? Why does someone else’s commute bother you?

Right? I can’t imagine caring about other people’s commute.

It's not their commute that bothers the PP, but when they complain about it. Presumably she thinks she is entitled to that annoyance because she ranked her preferences by proximity. Which obviously is a lot easier to do when you live near some decent school options.

But she didn't complain about proximity she simply listed her schools. Some of these petty bitches on here just want to say something negative...like always. Some of you desperately need a life.

I still think that's ridiculous to be annoyed people complain about a commute.

Oh, I wasn't agreeing with her supposed right to be annoyed. Although I do think commute should be a primary consideration, but I realize that might be hard when you live EOTR.

Odds for DCI not coming from a feeder.

Preferably Chinese or Spanish, would take French though.

Is that your true order of preference? You will get into Appletree CH long before you get into any of those listed below, so you might as well not list 6-12. Also, Ross will be hopeless OOB.

That is my order of preference due to commute. I assume Marie Reed will be hopeless OOB too.

Unless they cut more classes, I would assume your chances are good. They admitted a good number of IB w/o sibling last year (not us, unfortunately ), so all the IB with sibling got in.
