12-count indictment unsealed by special counsel
From CNN's Mary Kay Mallonee: The Special Counsel announced that Paul Manafort and Richard Gates have been indicted by a federal grand jury. The 12-count indictment is on "conspiracy against the United States, conspiracy to launder money, unregistered agent of a foreign principal, false and misleading FARA statements, false statements, and seven counts of failure to file reports of foreign bank and financial accounts." The charges do not cover any activities related to the campaign, though superceding indictments remain possible. THANK YOU OP, I was just thinking the same thing. That is so messed up, I can't even believe it. I would like to know who used this reference and who knew about it and stayed silent. Like the perpetration of sexual harrassment and assault, we can't fight racism if we don't call it out. This kind of crap shouldn't be the secret everyone knew and no one spoke up about.
