So Gillespie thinks NoVA is "enemy territory".

How do you think he'll treat NoVA should he win on Tuesday?

And what is it that makes NoVA enemy territory? The diversity? Our education level? The fact that we're the economic engine that the rest of the state sponges off from?

And isn't it funny that I've never heard him call racist Southside "enemy territory"?

Y'all are stupid. Shows you don't even know how the state government works. They don't even need to record their votes down there. They kill bills by voice and pass them based on 1 minute discussions. "Believe Me" there will be no discussion and no focus on actual issues if there is a Republican governor. It will look exactly like the federal government except worse because they meet for a very short time and don't get the publicity for all their bad decisions.

Also the idea that anything would be done at the state level with a majority in all branches being republican that would benefit NOVA is ludicrous.

It is not the illegals that are bringing down VA. It is the poor in all of the rest of the state who can't wait to take even more of your money or cut benefits and leave you with a local problem.

Alexandrian here who just happened upon this thread: Gillespie doesn't live here. Wth?

He lives in the Alexandria portion of Fairfax County near Mt. Vernon. Says so on his website.

His aspirations have nothing to do with NOVA any longer though so don't count on a lot of money being given to this area.
