Yes, she was preparing to take a group picture. Read the WaPo article in which Cillizza points out how “incredibly dumb” this “controversy” is.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2017/02/28/the-kellyanne-on-the-couch-controversy-is-so-incredibly-dumb/?tid=pm_pop&utm_term=.448bead6bc44

And, then look at the picture that was taken moments right after the one that is causing such outrage on the left.....

1. She still has her shoes on the couch.
2. THERE IS ALREADY A PHOTOGRAPHER TAKING A PICTURE.
You know what? After I read the Cillizza article and watched the short video, it occurred to me that Conway was probably trying to take a picture and not get in the way of the news media taking multiple pictures from farther away. I'm one of the pps who couldn't figure out why she was taking it from that odd angle. When I watched the video, I heard lots and lots of cameras clicking so that's when I guessed she probably thought standing up and taking a picture would ruin the shots of the news media.

Kinda dumb because she obviously got into someone's line of sight anyway. And they took many many pictures (judging by the clicks). She could have stood up and taken one quickly and sat down again. But it all makes sense to me now.

I still hate her but it's because she will lie about anything. But her sense of decorum in the oval office? - seems okay to me now.

It actually makes even less sense. If there's literally a bank of photographers, what in god's name does she need her sad little snaps for?

What cracks me up is all the black men laughing at her.

Fortunately, that helps her relate to his voters.
Please don't use the term "white trash." It's a pejorative used against rural white working class people and they don't deserve it. But do feel free to call Conway "entitled," "spoiled," or an "asshole." She totally deserves our enmity.

You mean, how she grew up?

I think she's an entitle, spoiled asshole, but she didn't grow up rural. She's from Camden.

I'm sorry. No way no how that is a man. That is KAC's wife.

Haha. She grew up in Atco. Rural WTville.

She worked on a blueberry farm growing up. Rural.

Doesn't crack me up that you think you can ascertain that from a photo as I find it very sad actually. I am certain there is help for you but you have to want to grow up and mature before it will happen.

KAC on her knees on the couch taking a pic in the oval office couldn't be a more benign topic if it tried. But still, you will find a way to make it a BFD.

Congrats. You're all more superior than the rest of us ordinary guys.

You're pretty cute. You're pissed at this and are calling out dems for name-calling and inane bullshit? Conservatives invented the art of the personal attack. From your own post, you've learned well from those lessons. So take your hypocrisy and stuff it. Because you know if this was Michelle, Sasha, Malia, or any democratic rep doing this, you'd be howling at what trash they are, "no respect for the office", etc. You KNOW it.

DP

Since you are bringing up folks in the oval office from the past there was a certain brunette intern on doing a far more 'salacious' activity than taking pictures on her knees.

And PP, you are just another example of someone that believes their insights etc. are so superior that you know every intent, affiliation and can predict what will or won't happen from behind that computer or phone you are attempting to communicate with.

That would explain a lot.

Definitely why she's so giggly about how great a boss he is.

In the same way he made those prostitutes pee in the room Obama had in the hotel, I bet he's finding people to give him oral sex in the Oval Office. He's such an insecure wannabee. Pathetic loser.

Way to perpetuate the fake news cycle.

Someone else has to do her dirty work and she gets to live like a queen 4 hours away from him. I hope for Melania's sake they are having an affair. I'm starting to like her more and more.

That's so backwards. Whatever happened to immigrants doing the work Americans were unwilling to do?

What does that have to do with this? Two wrongs make a right?

I think they cracked a joke about her being on her knees in the Oval Office

I'm so glad that dignity has been restored to the Oval Office.
