If she had smiled each time he made jokes at Clinton's expense, would that have made you happy? It sounds like you're confused of the meaning. You state it as if to show her lack of a smile at those jokes was a display of her inability to appreciate self deprecating humor.

+1 I suppose maybe OP thinks those kinds of ugly speeches at a charity event is a-ok, too. Trump doesn't seem to understand the meaning of time and place. This event was not a political rally or debate. It was a charity event. It should remain light hearted.
