Again, today. Went by during their "summer hours" and no one. No one answered the door.

this is so weird to me. what in the world is going on?!?!

Maybe someone should DCPCSB or DME? Tell them the school has gone incommunicado?

This is very weird to me. What happens next? What happens to the kids returning/enrolled in the school if nothing...?

I'm sure the Public Charter Boardis is aware of issues at Sela. Clearly there is support if they voted to allow them to 'expand' backwards to PreK3. Still a young school that needs assistance.

How many students are at Sela? Is it just an immersion preschool?

Yeah, have no idea how they can sustain the school with the 13-14 enrollment of 73 students. That's not enough to get any economies of scale for admin staff, extras teachers, facilities investments, etc.

Enrollment for 14-15 school year was about 85. They predicted 120, but many people never showed up at the start of the year and they expelled a few.

They should bring back the 12/31 cutoff niche.

Expelled in a school with children in grades Prek4-2nd. Oh my!

Expelled a few, based on what?
