To answer question 2, more IB families send their kids to BASIS and Latin than Hardy. BASIS was completely unproven a couple of years ago and got a lot of takers from the Hardy boundaries. Latin started out as the de facto neighborhood school for Hardy families, it opened in AU Park at a time when Hardy was over by Gallaudet.
