I thought the hundreds of walkers were behind some sort of fence so I don't think there going anywhere.

Wait. If the herd is heading in their direction, it's only a matter of time before they over run the church. I thought it was an old pig/poultry farm and they were all stuck there. Not on the move. Ugh, that's creepy.

Speaking of which, was Ellen Abraham's wife? What is the history there, really? What would make a woman trust the zombie unknown over sticking with a protective, military trained man?

I'm so glad the writers acknowledged the mullet! Well done.

It did look like an old farm, but they were not stuck in there - they were just moving through it.

Ellen was Abraham's wife, and I think the scenario in the flashback was that he had gone out for supplies or something, and returned to find those men raping his wife and possibly also his daughter. I don't think that was totally made clear on the show, but that's the plot from the comics. His brutality towards the attackers scared his family, and his wife took the kids and left. That makes zero sense to me, but whatever!

And I think Eugene is a goner now.

I believe it was a slaughter house with a herd of walkers.
PP is correct -- in the comics, Abraham was out for supplies. When he returned, his neighbors and trusted friends were raping his wife. So he reacted. But his family had never seen military/"work" dad. They only knew him as sweet/"coach" dad. His reaction frightened them. If it was early on in the apocalypse, perhaps his wife didn't know much about the walkers and didn't realize what a danger they were.

I don't get these people (usually women) that flip out when someone (usually a man) does something violent to protect them. I told my husband I would be fine with him bashing someone's head in with a can of baked beans to protect me.

So glad Asperger-Billy-Ray-Cyrus has been outed. I can't believe anyone believed him, guess in desperate times.

I thought last night, on the heels of the Beth episode, was too slow.
I heard that Carol and Beth have been seen on set filming next season, so they probably aren't dead or dying soon.

Agree Carol got captured on purpose.

Good idea about the guy in the woods being Noah.

Agree that it is inconsistent that Maggie would not be frantic over Beth's whereabouts.

I love that you had that conversation with your husband. truly. And I agree!

The plot last night was pretty good I thought. I thought the dialogue was worse than normal.

I didn't buy the Beth episode last week. I feel like Beth is not a good enough character to carry a whole episode.

Is this the 2nd to last season? I hope so. I still enjoy the show but I think it's time.

Well, the audience thinks Beth is annoying, so maybe Maggie does too

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought he was on the spectrum. Reminds me of a couple of my students. Especially the "I am smarter than you." comment.

I actually can believe the Maggie/Beth line. Maggie has been evolving, and she hasn't seen Beth since the prison (so half a season). I think especially since her father was killed she's less emotional. She figured if she hasn't seen Beth by now, she's probably not alive (especially after Terminus).

Now that we know what the little group is up to, it'll be nice to see what the big group is going to do about the Beth/Carol situation. They'll get out somehow.

anyone watch the talking dead and see the special preview they showed for the next episode. It was Carol and Daryl, Daryl was holding a body wrapped in a white sheet and throwing it in a fire. Carol thanked him. No idea who he was burning, but can't wait to find out.

It's probably just a random kid. Daryl took care of it so Carol didn't have to after the Lizzie thing.

Maybe it was the head cop lady? I'm guessing she doesn't get out of the next episode alive.
