National chain guilty pleasure

^^ Oh yeah, and the Santa Fe Salad and Brownie Sundae Cheesecake at Cheesecake Factory.

This thread is diabolical.

Love McDonald's fries. LOVE. THEM. They are my road trip treat.

I almost died from food poisoning from Fridays (turkey burger) about 20 years ago. I hadn't been in about 20 years and went recently with my husband. We had a great steak meal for $13.75 and couldn't believe it. So, I like it now. They have a good rewards program that you get stuff free just after a few visits.

My husband likes Outback.

We are getting cheap in our old age so are starting to go to chains again after not having gone for a really long time.

When i Was a vegetarian, I loved Chilis because they had a relish veggie burger with mushrooms and swiss. Or maybe their deal was you could get any burger as a veggie burger? Whatever, they won my heart on that alone. And the fries are good.

I also like Red Robin for the veggie burger option, though I haven't been in years, and not since i re-started eating meat.

I also enjoy the Cheesecake factory. Also like the Daily grille.

For fast food, you've named them all - completely devoted to Arby's, Chick-Fil-A (omg, the peach milkshakes are THE BEST), and Popeyes.

And I am obsessed with Outback. Obsessed. I make my husband take us whenever we are in suburbia land (we live in the city, alas no Outbacks).

Steak and Shake ... aren't any too close, but used to love these

I LOVE Outback. Steak + salad + loaded baked potato + brown bread = my post-hike heaven. (Post-hike because that's when I am out in the 'burbs to get Outback and when I can justify all that sour cream...)

In 'N Out, obviously.

My husband would give our first born child for Popeye's.

Chipotle. I get a steak fajita burrito with extra hot salsa and cheese and sour cream and eat the whole damn thing. And feel no shame. I only do this about once every 6 mos though.

DH and DD like Ledo's, and there's one very close, so we're there maybe 1x/month. I don't like their pizza, though, so it's more of "the family guilty pleasure that I am forced to eat" lol

Secret love for McD oreo mcflurries. They are my super secret "OMG I'm just not ready to do the daycare pickup just yet I need 10 minutes" treat

I got food poisoning from Bertucci's about 20 years ago. Haven't dared/cared to go back. You are brave!

Can someone explain the appeal of ben's chili bowl to me? I finally tried the half smoke and fries recently and found it to be like bad cafeteria food. Bun- not good, half-smoke- large but otherwise unremarkable, chili- like canned with a little kick, fries- mediocre at best. I wanted to like it in that "cheap crap, but so good" way, but was so disappointed! Is there something else I should try there?

Anonymous wrote:Yeah Popeye's! But they're surprisingly expensive, for a drive-thru chicken joint. Also Hardee's only for their breakfast (chicken biscuit is sooo good!) but there are like NONE in NoVA

Have you had a Bojangles chicken biscuit? AMAZING.
