If you're size 2-4 how much do you weigh and how tall are you

I'm super muscular and have a small bust. When I was getting a bridesmaids dress fitted last week, apparently I am a 0 (bust), 2 (waist) and 4 (butt).

I eat whatever I want but fully expect my metabolism to shift in the next few years. Gotta enjoy it while I can...

Same height as you but 130lbs. I am also super muscular. I am always in a 4. It has to be a brand with generous vanity sizing for me to be a 2!

I have a hard time believing at that height and weight you wear a size 8 unless your proportions are very odd.

She's probably taking about European stores.

An American size 4 = European size 8.

Do you mean English sizes? Because French and Italian brands don't use that type of sizing at all.

5'1" - 118-120. Size XS-S, usually a size 4P in pants/dresses but sometimes a size 2. Size 27 or 28 jeans (I have bigger butt/thighs).

5'4", 114-117. size 4 in shorts/pants/dresses, fairly consistently across designers and brands. Size small in workout gear.

I was at 122-24 for a decade, then due to some significant life events (stress, new job, parent died) that caused me great anxiety, off went ten pounds. Significant in that I had to get an entirely new wardrobe, from 6.

Nope, pretty even, not big hips, not top heavy. I'm just not trying to squeeze into too small clothing. Have you shopped at H&M? They have euro sizes and size 8 there is size 2/4 at gap, jcrew, etc. American just have an obsession with being a small size. and I'm American.

NP. H&M is not a "regular store," though. I find their sizing incredibly random. I have things from there that are a 0 and others that are an 8, and everything in between. I'm a 2/4 in American sizes like Theory, a 36 in French sizes, and a 0/2 in larger brands like J. Crew, Banana Republic, etc.

Yeah, H&M has crazy sizing.

I disagree. I think H&M has fairly consistent sizing and it's actually impressive given it sells cheap clothing. H&M doesn't do any vaniting sizing. I'm 5'3 and 110 - size 4 at H&M and size zero at Jcrew.

5’4”, 130-133, lots of muscle. J.crew 2-4 vanity sizes.

Sz 2 in bottoms as my legs are muscular....usually 0/XS in tops ... I usually have to buy suiting separates.....

Weight is important but so is Bf%

How is that even possible? I'm 5'8, weigh 125 with 19% body fat and wear 2-4 or small tops and dresses. I'm very slender and narrow, wear 32-34b in bras. How can we be wearing the same size? That is so strange.

(Obvious) answer: your frame is bigger/ bulkier

No, someone who is 5'4 and 140 is a big girl.

Hahaha definitely not necessarily. I think you'd be very surprised

Agree. Bf % makes a huge difference. I seem to wear the same sizes as some of the women in their 120’s according to this, and i’m 130ish.

5'5" and 130 and a size 4 in loft and jcrew. 6 in some other brands and small across the board.

For a woman who is 5'4 and 140 pounds to be thin she has to pretty much be a professional athlete. I don't buy it. This site is full of normal sized women who think they are thin.

You sound lovely. I'm not pp, but I actually think a strong, athletic woman is WAY more attractive than the scrawny pancake butts I see around here.

More helpful than weight would be measurements.

Just saying.

Signed,
Someone top heavy who wants to know what waist and hip measurement fits into a 4

I am 5'2 and consistently wear a four. Jeans are usually 27 or 26.

My weight makes me technically obese.

I am muscular and very fit. I ran a half marathon this weekend for fun then went out drinking with friends.

5'5" and 123 lbs, size 4 in dresses and most of my tops are size 2 or S/XS. But I'm pear-shaped so I go up 1 size in pants. I have a small waist but wider hips and muscular legs. I typically wear a size 4 in dress pants, but I'm a size 28 in jeans.

Didn't say you aren't attractive or a strong person. Simply that you're not "skinny" at 5'4 and 140 pounds. So it's laughable that a woman this size wears a 2 or 4. Go shopping at H&M and you'll probably be a size 8, which is your non-vanity size.
