If you were going to college today, where would you go if you could go anywhere?

OK, but please stop using that idiotic "DMV" reference.

Why? What do you call it as quickly and easily?

Went to USC. Loved the experience and then went to NYU medical school (eh not a fan of NYC) but it was a good school.

California is a hard place to beat to attend college...the college sports were incredible!!

Me too! (Class of 96). I would also do it all over again, including taking most of my Econ classes at Amherst.

Went to Stanford and would probably choose it again, but if I had to choose someplace new, likely Brown.

I would go to the best oceanography/marine biology program I could get into. Wish I had done that. That said, I loved my top 20 school and had a great time but should have taken more advantage of all the great extras available. Too much of a wallflower back then!

Went to Cornell and enjoyed it, but if I had it to do over I'd go to Duke. Better weather, smaller and more cohesive student body.

Duke's student body is only cohesive when cheering against UNC. Otherwise, it's not so cohesive. There's a strong New South contingent that's preppy and conservative butting heads with the more liberal NY/PA/NJ/MD types. Plus it feels like a Princeton wanna-be with the copycat Gothic architecture.

Actually, Princeton feels like a Bryn Mawr wanna-be with its copycat Gothic architecture.

I liked having the time to catch up. I was really busy at school and valued the extra time.
