Looks we're getting one step further into the extinction and ethnic cleansing of the Gaza population. |
Even if there’s truth in that, we don’t abide by thought police in the U.S. We don’t allow people to play the “I’ll tell you what you REALLY mean!” game. |
They're now saying the quiet part out loud. It's pretty obvious that it was always about genociding the Palestinians to take over face
"Israelis should embrace the word ‘occupation,’ IDF won’t withdraw from Gaza" - Smotrich https://www.timesofisrael.com/liveblog_entry/smotrich-idf-wont-withdraw-from-gaza-even-for-a-hostage-deal-israelis-should-embrace-the-word-occupation/ |
Take over Gaza* |
Shhh, we can't talk about Biden now. They couldn't stfu about Biden for months before the election but now it is NOT ok. |

Outside Gaza, there is not a single place in the world where starvation is an absolute certainty. it is distinguished as a specific war crime in the Geneva Conventions and the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court and UN Resolution 2417 condemns both the “starvation of civilians as a method of warfare” and the practice of “depriving civilians of objects indispensable to their survival”. |
I don't think it was always about that--at least, not for most Israelis. But I agree that it's about that now. The longer conflicts persist, the more cynical and tolerant of atrocities people become. |
Israel was never interested in cease fires or negotiations. This is ethnic cleansing, straight up. The Israeli right wing will accept nothing less than genocide. |
Because Israel has a nuclear bomb and they don’t. |
Having nuclear weapons is irrelevant except if by Gaza's "defense" you mean direct attacks on Israel. Iran tried this with 200+ drones and the U.S. held Israel back (the U.S. won't do that again if Iran gets froggy again). Egypt and other surrounding Muslim countries kicked the Palestinians out a couple of decades ago. Many Palestinians were kicked out because they stoked domestic unrest in those countries. Why would they want to take them back by reopening their borders? |
And would the counter argument not be that Hamas proudly proclaims that, from the river to the sea, Palestine will be Arab? |

Hostages are guaranteed death by starvation if this continues. Obviously, their lives were expendable considering most of them were killed by the IDF and it's Hannibal directive as well as the indiscriminate bombing that flattened Gaza. |
They don't have to starve. They can leave. Their own pride keeps them from doing so. Therefore, they are starving because of their choices. |
This is what I was wondering about. Are they able to flee to surrounding countries? What are those countries doing to help? |
This looks like it's going to be another Nakba albeit much worse in terms of the number of people displaced, starved and bombed to oblivion. |
