Is Busch Gardens (Local) Trip Worth It for Spring Break? ($4,626) or Universal Trip for ($7,874/$6,074 w/ Points)

I'm actually surprised how cheap Universal given its peak season and you're booking so so so late. I'd double check those numbers tbh.

Echoing others about BG. The add-ons are ridiculous. You might as well get a season pass and go back throughout the summer and Fall and youll get Halloween and Christmas, and free parking as a perk to boot.

We priced a 7 Day Western Caribbean cruise for Spring Break (april 12-19). Five of us.
$11,000 without flights. Add another $3500 for flights and $350 for a hotel the night before (2 rooms at a cheap hotel in Tampa)

Husband said no way are we spending $15,000 for a RC cruise.

I price Baha Mar and it was also $15,000 for 5 days

My biggest issue was that flights were very expensive and there were so few direct flights from any of the three DC area airports. Some had 7 hour layovers just to get to the Caribbean. No way.

As someone who has done a lot of VIP tours at a lot of big-time amusement parks - not because I am a rich biotch but because I am handicapped and did not want the kids to suffer because of that - I can say with confidence that the Universal Orlando group VIP tour is the best deal out there, by far.

Not op. We are going on a 7 day cruise for $900 total out of Florida in April. Flights are $20-40 each way. This is for 4 people. So, about 900 plus 400 flights round trip total for 4.

OP may be a troll with 3500 flights and 15000 cruises?

I’m the 04:22 poster above. We just booked the cruise yesterday, its $900 including taxes/port fees. For 1 inside room. Not $900 per person.

Since the OP has lots of cash it seems, suggest going to greatwolflodge website, click on Friday-sun stay, click every possible add-on, and end up spending 4k for 3 day trip to a kiddie waterpark.

How are you getting $20-40 flights to FL?

And what cruise is $900 for 4 people and for 7 days to boot?

That’s an absurd amount of money to spend at Busch Gardens, which can be done as a day trip for under $500.

These prices sound like two extremes of the spectrum. $400 for flights for four people in the middle of spring break sounds like a budget airline where you can’t even bring a carryon. And $3500 flights is obviously someone who refuses to fly coach. The real cost is somewhere in between.

Do not pay that for Busch gardens, that is ridiculous. It's a one day park and you don't need any more than that.

From one extreme to the next, did you stumble up on a time machine for these prices??? Is gas also .60 a gallon and a dozen eggs .50?
