Virginia is likely going to end up alone and that’s clearly not what she wants. He’s a good guy but they weren’t really a match because she can’t get past the politics or religion of his family. Seems like she wants to be religious-ish but isn’t.

The trend now is for people to choose a “brand” of religion that fits their already-formed convictions about the world instead of allowing God to speak into their lives and transform them. People like this (Sara) already have a religion on culture and value themselves and their own viewpoint as higher than anything God will instruct. She’ll tolerate going to church only as long as it affirms what she already thinks. Churches have allowed themselves to be an instrument of delivering faith that conforms to the current culture without any inconvenience rather than a guidepost and guardrail to preventing us from self-indulgence and conformity to the world that separates us from God.

Plus, in this case, the odds of Virginia finding an attractive, intelligent, sensitive, committed, educated black man who loves her and will settle down with her are statistically not high and she doesn’t seem to realize this.

Devin is likely to find someone but needs to get better at searching for someone who actually puts God first. No prenup. That was a ridiculous sign that he chose to ignore. Women who take marriage covenant seriously are not pushing for a prenup because the marriage isn’t ending.

Devin brings absolutely nothing to the table. She did all that for his birthday and he refused to help her carry it up?? That is a metaphor for their relationship. She would have carried that man on her back at every step. Professionally unsuccessful, heavily in debt yet spending thousands on shoes, bad in bed, unromantic, ashamed to voice his values (rightfully so). Weak across the board. Virginia is far better off alone than with a complete and utter loser like that. She’ll be fine.

Lauren, Virginia, Monica, and Sara are all catches imo. Glad they didn’t commit to any of those dudes. Not sure about Meg and Molly. Madison is a hot mess obviously.

I am not sure Monica is that much of a catch. Agree that Lauren, Virginia and Sara are though. Monica seems kind of simple, though I will admit she had QUITE the glowup at the reunion and looked amazing. Was it Taylor with the extreme updo and four metric tons of makeup? The Christmas girl. She reminded me of how Millie Bobbie Brown is young and makes herself look like a 40 yr old woman who's trying to look young. But Monica and Virginia both looked awesome.

And told him he fell short of boyfriend best.
And he was kind and complimentary to her in the end and she was too hurt to accept it, which is sad.
