Have Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce quietly uncoupled?

This is the issue.

It would be fascinating to read about why some people truly want negative outcomes for other

Ditto!

Have you ever watched her at music award shows? She stands, dances and sings along to every perfomance. She makes a spectacle of herself. I can't decide if it's endearing or obnoxious.

You would not see this if the organizers didn’t have a Taylor Camera pointed at her during the entire show.

She is always in the front row. You can't miss her.

In a stadium of 50K people?

Yes, you can definitely miss her along with the other rich people sitting in the first rows of their boxes because the non-famous people don't have cameras pointed at them.

I like Taylor and don't think she and Travis have broken up but as a longtime football watcher I feel comfortable saying that Taylor tends to conduct herself in an attention grabbing way at games. I've seen many celebs show up to games and they will be shown onscreen but most commonly they are dressed down (often even wearing a baseball cap or something that helps them blend in) and when they are shown on screen they will just be sitting there or sometimes cheering but in a way that makes them look like any other football fan.

Taylor dresses in a way that really sets her apart from everyone else there and she generally has a full face of makeup (and her makeup is itself very attention grabbing with the red lips). She is extremely animated when she cheers in a way that seems self-conscious and sometimes over the top. None of this is a criticism -- there's nothing wrong with being an inherently attention-grabbing person and she's an international pop star. But I think it's disingenous to act like the reason she gets a lot of coverage when she attends games is because of external interest. She behaves in a way that makes it far more likely she will be photographed or filmed and also ensures those photos will be eye-catching content. There is an alternative way to behave at these games if she really didn't want the attention that would still result in people aiming cameras at her as they would at any very famous person but would not feed this fervor for "Taylor Swift Content." If she just showed up to games in a regular Chiefs sweatshirt and a baseball cap (not wearing what is essentially stage makeup and skipping the thigh high boots and super short shorts) and then just sat and watched and cheered when appropriate then I think the interest in her attending games would have died down by now. They'd still show her when Kelce scored but it wouldn't be this big thing. She stokes the interest and I assume it must be intentional. She wants people to look.

It's been good for her career and really phenomenal for his so you can't argue with results. But she's not a victim of this whole thing. She's driving the bus.

True, but also she’s able to not be photographed when she doesn’t want to. She was in attendance at Lana Del Rey’s wedding last week.

Exactly (though that wedding was pretty under wraps admittedly). But the point is that if Taylor doesn't want to be photographed she can do that which means if she's getting photographed a ton it's generally because she wants to be.

Actually it would be hilarious to me if she actually was in attendance at the game in LA yesterday but she did it in an incognito way to avoid press. I honestly don't even think it would be that hard.

Especially in LA with all of the celebrities. They probably have more accommodations for people who don't want to be seen.

This is just the downside of fame -- loss of privacy and people judge you or envy you or both. The more famous you are the more of these negative externalities you get. If you want to "take a breath" without people complaining or speculating then don't become famous.

Taylor could be a lower key singer-songwriter but she actively pursued a high profile career in pop music. The rewards have been huge for her but she has to deal with a lot more BS than many of the (equally talented and hard working) singer-songwriters out there. That was and is her choice.

Travis could be like many other football players and just play football and not seek to turn his football success into a career in entertainment. He would have more privacy and less criticism that way. But he wants the money (and I think also enjoys the attention) so he does SNL and has all these sponsorship deals and is clearly angling for a life in the public eye well after his playing days are over. The downside of that life is a lot of criticism and speculation.

I just do not and will never understand the argument of "why won't people leave them alone?!" They chose this. It was not imposed on them.

I'm not saying leave them alone. I just wonder why a missed game causes speculation that they have broken up. Why one missed game means there must be drama. Maybe they decided to give football fans what they have been clamoring for - Taylor to not be there.

Not in a million years would either of them base that decision on what football fans want. And it's been two games. This weekend will be interesting because of both her attendance and his field performance.

Just so you know, Travis’s team took legal action against people who faked those documents. Seems like a pretty useless action if they were just going to break up the next week anyway.

Please cite the court records for this alleged "action."

That doesn’t mean there’s an actual case – do you know how this works?

Per Forbes article:
“ Kelce's representatives at Full Scope responded stating, "We have engaged our legal team to initiate proceedings against the individuals or entities responsible for the unlawful and injurious forgery of documents."

That's not legal action, sweetie, that is nothing but hot air pr spin.

Obnoxious. She’s makes everything about her.

It’s because she endorsed Trump. She and he are getting death threats etc. so they are moving out of the spotlight.

Travis has also looked really lost and confused. He looked like he was about to cry sitting on the bench last week. Maybe he decided to focus in the game and less on Yoko.

She endorsed Kamala Harris.

They both have stalkers and receive death threats on a regular basis.

What do you think it is?!? I'm such a sucker for this mess.

I’ve heard it’s not rep and it’s not debut TV. She will wait until later for those because she wants TTPD to have its time. Expect more singles, music videos, Collabs that may seem unexpected and… Think of current TTPD Setlist in ERAs to be a preview for what’s to come next. (Eg Remember how she surprised fans with performing Florida at her last show? no one really thinks she’s just going to do all that choreography for one show right?)

You might be right. She's also borrowed choreography from one song to use with another song. I can't recall the titles but remember reading about that and thinking that was a smart move.

Yes, she does do that. However, we would not see it if a camera wasn't pointed at her constantly. She left her seat at the VMAs because MTV had a camera pointed at her 100% of the time. They even named the camera "Taylor's Version."

I don't understand how some of you can't understand that we will see her more often when they show her on camera more often. She's not choosing to have the cameras on her so much. The event producers do that.

The VMAs put a “Taylor cam” on her so people online could watch what she was doing the entire show. Wonder why she left for an hour and a half during the show when she’s never done that previously? She didn’t ask for that. She didn’t want that and spent the majority of the show, backstage and private

Yes, that's what I said.

"Insiders" means Tree Paine, I think. Tree speaks on behalf of Taylor...

She goes to away games sporadically but everyone during the playoffs she can make tour-wise. This is NOTHING NEW.
