+1. The President is posturing for the board right now. And of course he will scream "racism". The board will negotiate a nice severance package for him and he will resogn ... as happened at Harvard. |
I doubt it. It feels like this is going to fade away and eventually be forgotten. |
If this happens, any student caught plagiarizing will just point to their president of the school as an example that this is nbd. |
Ummm... no, that is not what all of those are. Even cases of self-plagiarism where one article repeats much of the theory or background review of another paper is grounds for retraction. Again you are talking to a journal editor and it's very clear that you are not one lol |
I heard through the grapevine that there is now a new independent review commission (not the fake non-independent "dependent" review that Pines himself established, but an outside one) and that lots of people are very mad about this. I would be they pressure him to resign. You can't lose the trust of a majority of your faculty and continue on running the institution. |
Why do you say this? I sit on boards. This is what happens |
Probably Darryll Pines’ secretary posting wishful thinking |
| This is an attempt to take down a strong black man, that is all |
You think students are much more in tune with their own institution than they really are. |
Actually this was front page news in the student newspaper and a lot of students do read it |
LOL. Then you are clearly not paying attention. Or you are SO deeply brainwashed that you can’t see the constant liberal agenda being pushed by so many media sources. Regardless, all sources have bias. The important thing is whether or not the story is true. And in this case, it is. |
hardly. |
I wasn’t aware black people have a plagiarism pass. I must have missed the DEI memo earlier this year |
If you don’t like people attacking a black man, you should be angry at this particular black man for such dishonest & sloppy behavior that made it almost mandatory that he be attacked. |
