A lot more than 13 Americans died in Afghanistan. Wish you'd spend a little more time remembering them also. Maybe make it a little less obvious you don't actually give a darn?

Why would they? These are the same cretins who ignore 4400+ soldiers along with a million civilians were killed in a war based on lies at the hands of Republicans and Bush made jokes about looking for WMDs at the WHCD. Instead, they obsessed over four killed in Libya during a volatile transition and ignoring that requested security money was *rejected* by the same GOP trash who had countless hearings on Benghazi.

Military deaths are a game to the GOP to score cheap political points. Four were killed in Niger under Trump and he couldn't even be bothered to remember the name of one of them when talking to the widow.

You have to be a seriously deranged person to think Trump has ANY respect for military service.

It’s like you’re completely unaware that people do that when they’re afraid of retaliation. Ever wonder why battered women often don’t press charges?????

No, you effing liar, the cretin saying that the Department of the Army employee enforcing federal law had a “mental health episode” is the Trump campaign spokesman Steven Cheung.

Spokes-incel.
What a weirdo.

No one should be remotely surprised that Trump said this. Interesting though that it’s only just now coming out.

It’s not real, obviously. I worry for some of you!

Of course it is real. He has said things like this before.

This whole thread is false.

“When Darin and Kelly contacted me, I was furious to hear their request to have President Trump join them to commemorate the anniversary of Taylor’s death was being stymied, along with several of the other family members of U.S. servicemembers killed at Abbey Gate. I immediately asked what I could do to help and reached out to Speaker Johnson to see what he could do. Thankfully, Speaker Johnson and his team acted quickly and were able to get the situation resolved. But something like this should never have happened. Gold Star families have already suffered enough,”

Another source familiar with the conversations between the Gold Star families and Arlington National Cemetery said that after Johnson’s phone call, the entire situation changed.

“The Speaker of the House had to get involved. Reps Issa, Mast, and Chairman Mike McCaul were instrumental in assisting in the Gold Star families. After the Speaker’s call, the situation shifted significantly. It was only three days before the ceremonies, and Arlington National Cemetery waited until the last minute to confirm key components of the event with the families.”

“We, WE extended the invitation to President Trump. We are the ones that asked him to come. We are the ones that asked him to assist in laying a wreath for our son, and for the shooting for, Sergeant Canals and for Cole. We’re the ones that asked that. President Trump didn’t come to us. His team didn’t come to us and say, hey, this would be good for business. Business? No. President Trump has stood by us from day one. He has been compassionate. He has been loving. He’s been understanding. He’s taking the mantle of our outrage a little bit. Because to be quite honest with you, being very frank, we haven’t heard diddly squat from the current administration in three years,” Gold Star parent Darin Hoover told

7:92 you can post as many tweets as you want. Trump still broke the law and definitely showed what a weird gross old user he is. You of course are blind to this, but everyone else can see it.

If anyone else gave a grinning thumbs up on the grave of a soldier KIA you’d have a literal heart attack but you’re literally blind to it here.

I reported the video. There is no shortage of real, terrible things Trump has said.

I’ve never heard him use the term “rednecks,” which is why I fact checked. It’s not that I believe his depravity doesn’t sink that low. He should know better than to use that term.

I would appreciate it if we could agree to do the bare minimum of fact checking before posting videos.

And Trump’s the President that surrendered to the Taliban in the first place, leading to this impossible situation.

Yup. They already created a campaign ad for Trump. This was them providing more campaign material for him.

It doesn’t matter if they wanted him there or not. Their actions - all of them if they were also planning this - were illegal.

This.

There was no issue with Trump being there to "console" the family.

There was, however, a legal issue related to the video and camera crews being there and the subsequent social media posts the immediately followed.

Blah blah blah.

The point is they were not allowed to have cameras and video recorders in Section 60. Especially not to make a campaign video.

You GOPers sure have difficulty following the law.

This ANC thing is proof. They never should have started it. The lady clearly was a loon who was yelling political stuff the whole time. The actual families have come out 100% in support of the event.

Now the Harris campaign looks like they are harassing gold star families. Rookie mistake.

Why did they break the law against having cameras in section 60 and why did Trump break the law creating a campaign video and images there? Politics is supposed to be left at the gate when you enter the hallowed grounds of Arlington National Cemetery. But we all know nothing is sacred to Trump. It’s all about what looks good for him. Grinning and thumbs up standing on the graves of soldiers. Disgusting.
