Barron Trump college

That being said, leave Barron alone. He is still a kid. I am a life long left-wing Democrat who hates Donald Trump and firmly believe young children of politicians, even those on the cusp of adulthood, should be left alone.

Trump went to Penn and brags about it regularly.

I actually wouldn't be surprised if Barron ends up at Penn despite Biden's strong connections. The Penn Board seems to lean more conservative than the other Ivies, and fair number of influential Penn people (e.g. Lauder) have donated to Republicans and have hosted campaign events for Republican candidates. Bringing in Barron would be seen as "balancing" the campus ideology of Penn for the more conservative elements of the Penn alumni/administration, especially in response to the campus events of the past year.

So what? I have no plans on announcing where my kids will attend college. There won’t be posts online or signs in our yard. I’m not famous and no one cares but I respect their privacy and think it’s no one else’s business to know. Same for him. We don’t need to know.

And that's why we have a huge thread speculating - the Trumps kept it out of the news, as they should.

Well Penn might want that but you haven't made the case for why Trump would want his son at a school so closely associated with his main rival.

My son is 2024 and has met some of classmates.
They all have great things to say about him, but he's somewhat quiet. (Only 1 person's account).

He played soccer at Arlington and was a nice kid.

This is true, he was quiet and well-liked, even among those who can't stand his father.

He'll go somewhere where Melania can live close by - NYU or Pepperdine make sense.

Pepperdine is too down market. No to NYU -- too NY.

His mom would never subject him to a military place.

Isn’t that only a grad school?

He went to Fordham and transferred to Penn. nobody in his family went their first year of college—all went later.

No that is not true stop spreading lies about a kid.

He will go to Warton or NYU most likely. His mother made sure he was educated.

Not like Don Jr or Eric are bright enough to have gotten into Warton on their own.

She keeps him close. It will be near her- I’m sure of it.

+1 I mean.. why wouldn't the choose a red state like TX or AL? Why would they consider the colleges in the blue states, especially the coastal blue states. Don't MAGA think that those coastal blue state colleges brainwash the students?

Many MAGA leaders attended HYSP.

1. Josh Hawley
2. Trump’s comms director
3. The portly Texas congressman with bad facial hair

But MAGA hate the elitist coastal states and their universities. Why would they continue to send their kids there if they hate them so much? Why not build up Liberty U or WVU?

Because they are the best.

Pepperdine is also deeply Christian. Crowd prayers out on the campus, etc etc. Yikes.

I think you guys think DJT gives two shits what’s “upmarket” these days. There was a time he would have made a lot of calls to get his kids into Wharton, etc. I’m sure he did. Those days are long past. If he can use this opportunity for himself, he will. It will be a school in FL or wherever Melanie wants to live

He is 100% going Ivy. My guess would be Penn (Wharton) or Yale. I guess we will know soon enough.

+1 Yale makes sense for him.
