Monica Lewinsky was what, 22? I wouldn’t take what 22 years think and do as representative of “how women think.” But republicans are repugnant, amoral creatures. |
Agreed. It will be some other GOP nominee versus Biden, who if he doesn't get something done about the border ASAP is going to make things a little dicey for him among Democratic Party-leaning independents. |
Please explain your math about Trump not being the nominee. He's the clear leader now - apparently Republicans are both masochists and sadists, still. Tell me what you thnk is the pathway to him not being the nominee again. I'm asking sincerely - I'd take almost anything over him. I almost forgot how disgusting and loathsome and EXHAUSTING he is until these last couple of days. |
Wrong. We are in a proxy war. |
So you watched Clown Hall, but not the State of The Union address. Maybe you should. |
They lost it during the Trump years |
At this point in 2015, Trump was not in the top 10. I think Jeb Bush might have been #1. |
Not the same as troops fighting abroad |
I'm not asking whether the top contender has ever lost that position. I'm asking you to describe the pathway you are envisioning, that is allowing you to confidently say he will not be the nominee. I guess if he does, and it's still an if then, I guess. |
So people can't change? Lou Dobbs worked for CNN. Maria Bartiromo worked for CNBC. |
Agree. He will be buried by legal problems and legal bills. |
How's that going to happen? He's got endless cash from his dumb supporters to pay these legal bills. He's been doing it for years on end already. He's already under indictment, and it didn't hurt his poll numbers with republicans one bit. In fact, they went up. The base absolutely loves the fact that he is a criminal. He's going to be the nominee unless a cheeseburger gets him. |
Being elected president gets him out of all of his legal problems. |
If he's elected, does he get to pardon himself? |
Trump gave in to Putin in order to have "peace", and I put that in quotes since Putin invaded Ukraine and took Crimea. That's Trump's definition of negotiating -- give the other guy what he wants as long as it makes Trump look good. Rs used to have strong foreign policy, which included being a global leader. Trump erased all of that. He doesn't have any morals or ethics or really, anything he stands for other than himself. He doesn't stand for democracy; he wants to be a dictator. You are like the Germans who were willing to look the other way as long as Germany was made great again. |
