Do you never watch network TV, such as the local or national news? Not everything is cable or streaming.
I only ever see commercials when watching the news. There's no way to avoid those other than muting or leaving the room. |
Nope. That’s for boomers. Younger generations get their news online. You’re a dinosaur unfortunately. |
|
Jardience is really swell — the little pill with the big story to tell!
The Michael and Son ads get on my nerves too. Hate that jingle, plus they’re a terrible company. |
|
The Jardiance ad is terrible.
The Medicare ads Kars for Kidz - HATE THESE ADS! |
Ridiculous. I watch the news while getting ready in the morning, as well as while cooking dinner. |
| The song “love like this before” one for Target and the Burger King commercial that ends with “you rock!” |
This has to be the worst. If I want to see portly women dancing I’ll go to a wedding reception. I don’t need to see them on tv. |
I'm tired of seeing Mike Slokum commercials every other one. They make me want to stop watching fox 5 🤬 |
|
Lume actually works!
I just mute all.commercials so they rarely catch my eye. |
| “Mom, do you douche?” Mother and daughter walking on the beach. This was back in the 80s maybe. Yuck!!! |
+1 |
I hate these so much. My husband does the grocery shopping and always buys Costco toilet paper. During the pandemic, the only brand available a couple of times was Charmin. I hate the “enjoy the go” thing so much that I hate having to use it. |
| I cannot stand medication commercials. Anything else, whatever. I don't know how they are allowed, with their crap list of side effects and since they're not even relevant to 95% of people watching. I especially hate the psoriasis one with the burning and shards of glass. |
This commercial I support. I have no problem with it. |
Once upon a time, it was illegal to advertise prescription meds AND for physicians to advertise their services. I think we should go back to those days. I think the collective anxiety level in America would go down many percentage points if we simply outlawed prescription medication commercials. Who cannot feel anxiety after listening to all the side-effects of every drug, over and over again? And the ones that say, "Ask your doctor if XYZ is right for you.." are especially egregious. IMO if you have a condition and need to be treated for it, that's something your doctor should figure out. Not a snake-oil salesman (big pharma company) on TV. |
