I can see your point. I lived in DC from 22-32. Left three years ago just in time for COVID. I still have many friends in the area and like to keep up with what’s new. I still own property in DC I’m thinking of selling after our tenant’s lease expires. I mostly check the real estate forum a few times a week now. I spent an embarrassing amount of time on it when I lived in DC. |
New York isn't just Manhattan. |
Go read complaints about plans to gentrify Coney Island. |

I was just in Paris. It was lovely, but I noticed the shit from tiny dogs every wimp the sidewalk☺️ Must be cultural. They did had big vaccum trucks to clean the streets though, but you had to watch your step even in the Maria’s for the tiny poos.

| Tiny poo would be a welcome change from a giant shitshow that is this neighborhood |
Don't go there then. |
| Not how it works. I’d prefer the city gets correct. |
Or maybe the city can make it nicer? |
|
To all the move, leave etc people, how would you like if I asked you the same?
Ain’t going nowhere other than WOTP. |
I actually have sworn it off after 2 ratty dinner experiences. It just puts me off. I have high quality lower rat ratio restaurants closer to me, and don't need the bother of parking. The city needs to crack down on all the disgusting stuff- instead, they are whining to the federal government about teleworkers. Why lure people here, let's force them! |
|
Which one would you prefer? The corner that the OP/Karen is whining about is going to get a major facelift.

But the neighbors apparently like the pee, pot and rats. Why would this change anything. Will something be done to prevent people from peeing on the new bus stops? How will this eliminate rats? And since we like pot, how will the pot smell be impacted? New building, but what will change? |
