| Working in pharma right now, few Black people, even fewer Latinos. All Latinos I know already worked in pharma in their countries before being recruited to work in the US. As a white person I have no problem with this. I came from a clinical background where the workforce was very diverse and was surprised how in-diverse large pharma is. I previously worked with black clinicians who are much smarter than me and would be better suited for my current position . I just don’t think they apply. Good for Pfizer to try to change this. And no I don’t work for pfizer. |
Not disputing it! She is absolutely a Latina. I just think of her when people claim these fellowships help the underprivileged and POC. It shows how uneducated many people are about what Latinidad comprises. They hear “Latino” and they think, “not white” and “poor.” Embarrassing for them tbh. |
Adding that my company is good about promoting black candidates to positions of leadership but lags in recruiting diverse candidates. |
| I see lot of stereotype going on against Asian students, they aren't a monolithic group. |
Give me a break. High SAT scores and high GPA go together most of the time. Are you implying academic achievement via hard work doesn’t count, only natural Talent matters? Btw, SAT prep is free and provided by college board, it’ll be a total waste of time to prep for years. 2-3 weeks are more than enough to get a near perfect score if your gpa is 3.5+. |
2-3 weeks are more than enough to get a near perfect score if your gpa is 3.5+ and you have 11 years solid foundation in reading skills and top notch algebra instruction. Finished your thought for you. |
what's the % of Asian Americans in executive positions in Fortune 500 companies? |
See you didn't touch the Asian test mills. Because you know it's true. High SAT scores are mainly bought with PAID test prep and super scoring. It's mainly socioeconomics. |
