Little Free Library Etiquette

List all my books on librarything.com

Post a QR code somewhere by the sidewalk.

Then someone walking by can check my list and ask me for a book, and I'll put it on my porch.

I love this idea!

There are things called big free (public) libraries. Stop putting these in your lawn unless you want random junk books no one wants stuffed in there

+1 There are no LFL turf wars. None.

They are fun and cute and while occasionally people offload crap, there are always 2-3 books that are genuinely interesting. The big free libraries are not hurting because some people put 20 books in a birdhouse on their front lawn.

I love the idea of little free libraries. These are the kind of things which make a collection of houses a friendly neighborhood.
