| I’m 42 and assume perimenopausal because I have insane night sweats multiple times a night. Soaking through my shirt, sheets are damp, etc. Period still comes regularly but is pretty short like I bleed heavily for a day between 1 or 2 days of light light flow. Mentioned the sweating to my gyn who just shrugged it off. I have significant family history of breast cancer and one aunt with ovarian cancer so assuming HRT is not in my cards. What else helps with the night sweats? I am miserable. |

Put a fan next to the bed. It will become your new best friend.

The irony is that ima always cold. Then I get the drenching hot flash and freeze to death from wet clothes until I finally get up and change my shirt. 😫 |

Also may want to invest in pajamas that help with the sweating:

| I would get a complete physical. |
That was my life through perimenopause! What helped me was sleeping in work out tank tops that wick the sweat away. |
| Can you go on BCP? |
| Prozac at a low dose helps with hot flashes. Got on it a month ago and it’s been a game changer. |

Make sure you’re sleeping on cotton sheets and not polyester. I used to drench my sheets in sweat every night, but noticed it wasn’t a problem when I had the cotton sheets on my bed.
I also have Soma nightgowns and those help too. |
