weird new bill from CFA

Did anyone get notice from a new system apparently managing embryo storage for CFA? You are supposed to log into this portal? I haven't heard from them for years and they say there is a very low balance due for freezing done 8 years ago? I mean, I'm sure they charged that to me then but I probably do owe for storage during Covid when no bills came.

It's all weird. Our fault for still not doing the paperwork to end storage but still.. flash backs to a worse time when we were at their mercy.

I got the same bill and inquired -- they recently sold their IVF lab to Ovation Fertility, and it seems like OF has their shit together more about billing and whatnot.

I got the same bill! Also had not heard about the cost from CFA when it was done a year ago…and I’m pretty sure insurance wasn’t covering it either. Strange to start payments a year later. Once I told them I have this benefit covered under my insurance, they were unsure of the claim process. I don’t even know who to contact at CFA about this.

Connie in their billing office seems pretty helpful; maybe she would know?
