I just noticed that CNN has moved Toobin back to his usual role on TV.
What is this world coming to, that someone can expose himself on a conference call and still retain his job?!?! Very disappointing. |
With the same network, no less. CNN has no shame. |
| I don’t see the problem with what he did. |
I’m glad I’m not your coworker! |
|
He's been back since June of 2021.

It turns out that there is only one person able to provide legal commentary, so CNN had no choice but to bring him back. Who knew? |
|
That disgusting pig being on CNN and Chris Cuomo not being on is why I stopped watching CNN.
Screw them. |
| Another reason not to watch CNN. |
| Are all of these hacks likely going to be fired by the new majority shareholder(s) / Discovery? |
|
| Lubin’ Toobin!! |
|
As cringeworthy as it is, I am mostly happy about it because maybe it will finally mean heads don't have to roll over every little thing. So many people have had their careers ruined by MUCH LESS BAD transgressions.
As for his situation, it's just weird and I will always think about the incident when seeing him. |
|
The incident happened at the New Yorker, not CNN.
I’m guessing that CNN was contractually obliged to keep Toobin on, or they’d have to pay him a giant severance. Nothing happened while Toobin was on the job for CNN. |
Same here. It's the first thing that pops into my head when I hear his name or see him. |
| CNN used to be news...now they count among their staff a guy who literally can't keep it in his pants. sad. |
