Anyone watching the Biden/Obama/Harris joint press conference?

Watching it with focus. This ACA expansion is what they should have been focusing on in 2021. Having Obama sell Medicare For All would be unbeatable.

Wow Obama just gets better with age. His jokes hit perfectly and he just sounds amazing to listen to. Strong, deep, commanding voice with amazing inflection.

Nothing but a Hail Mary by Biden. He needs something to improve his polls.
Obama won't be able to save him.

Biden is safe. Its the House and Senate which needs to be praying.

In 10 minutes Obama has sold the expansion of ACA better than Biden and Harris have done over a year.

Focus.

Passion.

Commitment.

Don't overreach.

Biden says he wants to extend the ACA. Waiting on a White House briefing to expand on what he means.

Not as good as Biden's story about Big 10 and Big Momma.

But on a serious note not sure we can spend ourselves out of the coming economic downturn. More spending will likely accelerate the coming recession/depression.

Then maybe Medicare for all will be popular along with Welfare for all.

He was a great President.

We spend plenty on healthcare already. And we haven’t spent up to the inflection point. But I know R’s love to underfund programs and then complain that the programs don’t work!

The fact that Biden thinks a bit of Obama’s halo will rub off on him is laughable. Biden hasn’t seen the floor on his approval ratings yet and will likely go down as one of the least popular presidents in history.

He was a great President.

He was good in a lot of ways.

Presidential
Led by example with loving family.
Great orator.

But he lacked executive skills. He let the folks from Goldman Sachs call the shots - “foam the runway” for 10 million foreclosures - that’s 25 million people who he could have helped. He chose Wall Street over the people. And because of the way that was handled led to a lot of disillusionment, the rise in income inequality, and eventually Trump. I actually think history is going to be critical of Obama because of this.

I admired the tone he set for the country but his lack of executive experience, and management experience overall, did a lot of damage to a lot of people.

I wouldn’t count him out. If Russia actually loses in Ukraine it will reflect very well on Biden.
