Not sure, but looking for a family membership that has classes.
The ones nearby seem to be: AU gym Orange Theory (tenleytown) Sport and Health (tenleytown) |

Orange Theory isn't really a "gym". They only do classes, it's not like you can walk in and use their weights. Also very $$$
Sport and Health - they're a typical gym, but very nice. I used to be a member years ago and parking was an absolute #itch. Maybe they've fixed that issue. Their membership fee isn't very high. Maybe $70-$80 a month I think. AU Gym - no idea but I would assume it's not a fancy gym, but it is functional and also around the corner. |

Yes they recently reopened non-student memberships. You have to purchase on an annual basis as a "community member." Prices - Individual: $1,101.00 or Family: $2,165.00 https://www.american.edu/recfit/non-student.cfm |
