People accept their matches and sibling move into the sibling category above you.

Someone whose kid got a spot, accepts that spot right away, which means their sibling moves up to the top of the waitlist because they now have sibling preference.

Some kid with a number lower than yours had a sibling who matched with the school. The child in the same grade as your kid gets a "sibling accepted" preference and hops your kid.

That's why you shouldn't check it 23049823423 times a day. It'll move around a lot.

Hahaha for sure. I went back to check to see how fluid it really was. It really is real time. Didn’t expect that from DC. Ha.

I’ll make sure to only check 826384 times a day.
