| Interesting in purchasing tuition insurance (school does not offer a specific plan). Has anyone done this? Are there any companies that provide refunds for voluntary withdrawals/withdrawals for academic reasons?? |
| Bump - anyone? I’m guessing maybe it doesn’t make sense for companies to offer one-off policies. Maybe you can only obtain directly from the school, but I would love to be wrong on this. |
| I believe at least some local privates use Dewar (ours does) but it doesn’t look like they offer individual policies (not through the school). It’s pretty cheap and better than nothing, but you still take a bath if your kid needs to withdraw. |
Thanks! Ok, seems as I figured. One kid is heading to a private that uses Dewar. But other kid heading to a small private that doesn’t offer an insurance policy. Oh well, guess I’ll just have to risk it on that one! |
| Our school used to have it as an option, but now it is simply included in the tuition and is mandatory. |
Same. Mandatory. |
| Mandatory at our school unless you pay in full in one payment. |
