Playa Bowls

One of our schools is doing a fundraiser with Playa Bowls. What should I get? I'm not interested in paying $5?-$12? for someone to cut up my fruit. Are there any interesting items on the menu?

Look at the menu. Pick what looks good. This is not hard.

I like their chia-based bowls but they give you a LOT of chia pudding. Way too much to eat in one sitting.

Unless you want to take some home afterwards and eat it later, I'd stick with one of the fruit-based bowls. The pitaya (dragonfruit)-based bowls are tasty. Electric Mermaid and Pink Flamingo are my faves.

They are completely overpriced. I don’t see why people pay so much for yogurt bowls with a little bit of Chia sprinkled on top. But, it’s a school fundraiser so spend that cash!

They are reasonably priced. I mean maybe it’s not your thing but they are cheaper than our competitor here where bowls are $14-15.

The ones in my area are about $12 a bowl. Yes, I do think that is overpriced. They taste good! And, I will always buy a few for a fundraiser. But yes, I do think they are overpriced.

I just write a check to the School/PTA at the beginning of the year and then only participate in the find raisers that I like- which are very few.
