| I defrosted shredded rotisserie chicken on sunday. It smells fine today, and obviously looks fine. Would you consider this food safe? I feel like today is the last possible day I could still use it, possibly. |
| I wouldn’t, and I’m usually very relaxed about stuff like this. |
| I would. Have kept a rotisserie chicken for up to 5 days and it was fine. |
| I am sure it’s fine. |
| It’s fine so long as it doesn’t have smell and isn’t slimy. |
I think this, but also wonder -- how did you defrost it? If you defrosted it in the fridge, then I leaner harder to "it's fine." If you defrosted in the microwave or on the counter, I would be more hesitant. |
| Putting it in the fridge Sunday means it was still partially frozen Monday. It is fine. I pulled a roast out today to cook Sunday. |
| How old was the shredded chicken when you put it in the freezer? If it was same day it was cooked/you bought it, I'd say it's fine. |

Dear Lord you people have no clue about food safety.
Defrosted raw chicken is supposed to be eaten within 2 days. Freezing cooked chicken is more risky esp if it sat at room temperature for any amount of time. Most food poisoning bacteria has no smell or taste. |
