Was our vet hitting on me?

Anonymous
My husband always takes our dog to the vet but today I did. Just routine shots and checkup. I took the dog in and then walked out and waited in my SUV to work on some emails. I was told to expect a call or text from one of the helper girls when he was ready. They were pretty busy. Yet randomly, the actual vet is at my SUV tapping on the window and starts talking to me for literally 20 minutes. Nothing was wrong with our dog and the conversation quickly veered off into random topics. Is this sort of long chit chat normal? I am sort of hesitant to ask my husband! And no, he didn't pad the bill or anything for that time nor did he ask to do anything extra to our dog.

He is into you. or He wants to get into you.

Probably not. I bet he was just relishing being outside for a minute. Maybe he was procrastinating. Of course it’s possible but it would be so unprofessional, I doubt it. He knows you’re married.

Is the vet named Shake?

It is normal for the charge of a Vet consult. He was filling the time with BS to charge you the fee. He is not into you.

Be flattered and let it go.

If that's all it takes, then TONS of people are into me

Good one lol.

Maybe he is just accustomed to the same old faces and tired of giving people bad news, but likely just an excuse to get some fresh air.

Literally?

As for OP, did the vet comments on your doggy's style?

Sometimes people just want to talk. It's okay. Last time I was at the vet we talked about restaurants in NYC while she cleaned out my dogs ears.

What is your question? Do you want to know if you should report him? I think he was just talking. Move on.

Leave the poor vet alone. They 've been trying to hang by their fingernails through the toughest time in history. Highest rate of suicide in all professions.
This guy was just friendly, establishing a relationship since your husband does this usually. He's not coming on to you.
