Trump is going to keep Blanche Acting AG because he knows the confirmation hearings will be beyond brutal for both of them. Plus, Thune cannot guarantee Blanche will be confirmed. Tillis, McConnell, Collins, Murkowski, and Rand Paul are likely to vote against Blanche.
