Can anyone recommend a great restaurant on the water (any water), romantic, for mother's day?

We went to Sam's on the Waterfront in Annapolis in November and it was LOVELY. Even nicer than it looks on line and the food is terrific.

2941 in Falls Church. The food is on the "fancy" side - i.e. not meat-and-potatoes, but I loved it, and the service was great. the restaurant is located in an office building in an office park - random - but the restaurant is all glass and looks out onto a beautiful tree-lined lake.

I like Indigo Landing, mainly for the location.

indigo landing's food sucks! but the view is amazing. go for drinks and sit outside.

for something more casual, jimmy cantler's near annapolis is great for crabs and beer!
