We had moved on to speculating why certain agencies were giving less telework than before the pandemic, and we were arguing over the value of telework for carbon emissions. Was that really so bad that a dozen replies had to be deleted?

I think I posted several of those replies and I'm not actually upset they got deleted. It as very off topic and unhelpful for OP who was just tryin to compile a list.

It is weird the off topic ones that stayed up. But Jeff's call!

I ran out of time. I was cleaning up that thread while waiting for a friend to stop by and stopped when he arrived.

Yes, it is always bad to completely hijack a thread. Also, we have a new forum, "Environment, Weather, and Green Living", which would be the perfect place for a discussion of remote work and the environment.
