Book about elder care called The Unlikely Felon

Has anyone read this book? It is like a manual of what not to do if you decide to be a POV for someone. A couple took care of grandma. She agreed that they could sell her house and use the money to help take care of her. It was a verbal agreement. They kept few receipts and poor records. They paid themselves for hours of caring for her. The problem was this informal agreement was used against them when a one of grandma’s kids from a previous marriage applied to take over and be her guardian and they were charged with misuse of her funds. They seemed incredibly naive and had thought that the new guardian had been okay with them selling the house and providing her care.
