Dealer accessories?

Wish I would have worked in different rims when I purchased since I think I want them now. If I go on the manufacturer website and add them under the “build a vehicle” section, it’s $659. But I’m told by coworkers I should expect to double or triple that now, since it’s not at the time of purchase. How much more? Any idea before I call and waste my time?

Why do you need OEM rims?

I think they look nicer with my trim package, and I just can’t get it out of my head. I’m keeping this car a while and it’s something I’d like to do, if the price is right.

Just call or check out the parts sections of any dealers website. Nobody here will actually know for your car. They sometimes have deals, too. But, yes, generally it'll be more than if you had purchased at time of vehicle purchase.

NP here

If you can afford it and it will make you happy then do it, buy those rims.

When I bought my current vehicle 6 years ago, I bought the base model even though I thought the higher trim looked better. The base model actually had all the options that I needed. However, I have spent the last 6 years wishing I had bought the better trim and every time I see the higher trim model on the street, I regret not buying it even more. I had the money for the better trim, I just got cheap!

Moral of the story, if the rims will make you feel better and happier with your vehicle, go for it!

Id say F-it and but the rims and have a tire shop swap your current rims/tires if they are the same size. and then you can put snow tires on your old rims or try to sell em and get some money back.

or go to a place like tire rack you could likley get a a very similar rim pattern for less than OEM.

look around in junk yards for the rims to save a buck.

the dealer is gonna bend you over and rape you...
