Leather bag with zipper and straps long enough to swing under my elbow onto my shoulder

Anonymous
Does anyone have something they recommend? Perforated or otherwise light weight would be great. Nothing stiff or too structured. This is my everyday mom bag. I don’t really care what it costs but I also don’t care about brands or fashion so I’m disinclined to pay more for a brand. But I appreciate that quality leather goods are expensive. I’ve had my last one for 10 years, it’s Cole Haan, and it’s just too worn.

The elbow thing is essential and I’m really tall so I think I’m looking for a long “drop.”

Thank you, fashion people!

I bought a Hammitt VIP bag (in medium) after seeing it recommended by someone here. It's supposed to be a clutch or crossbody, but I just leave it as a shoulder bag which ends up being a longer drop. Maybe something like that would work? I'm 5'9" so semi-tall.

Thank you! I’m not into the fold over but the strap looks perfect. The search continues.

The Portland leather bucket bag looks good (but bigger than what I was looking for).

Thank you! The comment above wasn’t me (OP) but I appreciate the brand rec. The triangle bag looks like it might be perfect.

Ugh j/k the handle drop is 11” and I need it to be like 15. Why do they do thissss? What kind of psychopath has her other hand free to push the bag up her arm? Blehhhhh.

Okay I think maybe the Marc Jacobs “director” bag is perfect (adjustable straps with a lot of extra holes). But I hate how it says “the Marc Jacobs.” Would it be super gauche to just take that off? It looks like it’s metal that maybe is like a pin?

Cuyana. Pricey but I love mine. Have had it for 5+ years and it has held up.

Which one? Does it swing under your elbow?
