question about transferring ES in Ffx Co

Prospective FFx county home buyer here.
Can we transfer DC to a different ES than what our district has assigned us? How and have you done it?

the short answer...pretty hard.

I have heard of friends who were able to use childcare as a reason but I think even now that is getting harder to get approved. If there is a program at another school that is not available at your school, that can also be a reason.

You also have to make sure that the school you want to transfer to is not closed to transfers. I think there is a link to that on the fcps website.

You might try to search here or dig around on the fcps site. I know I have seen links to FAQ's on here over the past couple of months. GL!!!
