I strongly prefer solid wood to particle board or MDF, but I'm having trouble finding a 36" wide solid wood bathroom vanity (with a dark brown color/stain) that is not more than about $750. I've checked Overstock, Lowe's, HD, Ikea, Second Chance, Community Forklift and Habitat for Humanity. I'm totally fine with second hand (obviously), if I can find the right thing. Anyone have any suggestions of where else to look? |
You have champagne taste and a beer budget.
If you want a high quality solid wood vanity you have to pay for it. |
Agree with PP, the beautiful full wood vanities that I like are all ridiculously expensive. My favorite is from rejuvenation. |
I love this one too, and it’s less expensive but it’s 1500.

Get something made by the Amish. |
RTA all wood vanity for $350 without counter or sink. You would have to pay some shipping--site:

West elm isn’t wood. Can’t get solid wood for this price. Maybe veneer. |
You can go on wayfair and sort by sold wood. I got one from
Signature Hardware, but that budget will be tough. https://www.signaturehardware.com/36-neeson-vanity-for-undermount-sink-rustic-brown-3.html |

This one is $1200 but look at all their lines/styles by this same manuf I bought one and it’s solid wood. Made in Vietnam |
This one says it’s wood and engineered wood. Not particle board or mdf. |
OP here. Thanks for the ideas. I checked out the ones that are online, and I might be willing to expand my budget for one of them. First I'll try some Amish stores, though, and maybe some of the used websites like Craigslist and FB. |
