| We are headed away next week on our first vacation in 2 years and I'm in need of recommendations for light poolside reading, preferably something that is well-written but not sad or deep. I liked the Crazy Rich Asians trilogy and similar. Thanks! |
| The Love Hypothesis was cute. |
| Sex and Vanity, same author as Crazy Rich Asians. |
Me again - also Unhoneymooners |

Unpopular opinion, but I think that Lauren Weisberger's books are really well written. I LOVED her most recent DWP book focused on Emily, When Life Gives You Lululemons.
Where The Grass is Green And The Girls are pretty was pretty enjoyable for me as well. |

I also think the Lauren Weisberger books are a good rec!
For light beachy reads I like: Emily Henry goodreads.com/author/show/13905555.Emily_Henry Sophie Cousens goodreads.com/author/show/14224207.Sophie_Cousens The Bookish Life of Nina Hill goodreads.com/book/show/42379022-the-bookish-life-of-nina-hill Eligible: A Modern Retelling of Pride and Prejudice goodreads.com/book/show/25852870-eligible |
| I enjoyed the Jasmine Guillory books on my last vacation! |

I loved Crazy Rich Asians too! I wasn't such a fan of Sex and Vanity, but then I didn't like the original A Room With a View either.
What about Sophie Kinsella? Her Shopaholic books are fun and she also has several good standalones. Or if you want to try something along the lines of the upper crust but set in a different time period, Georgette Heyer's novels are fun fluffy reads. Cotillion is hilarious. |

+1 Sophie Kinsella
My favorite of hers is I've Got Your Number, followed by Can You Keep a Secret? and The Undomestic Goddess. |
|
The Hating Game
|
| Guncle, Stephen Rowley |
| +1 Emily Henry - easy but funny and smart |
| Reckless Girls is a good beach thriller |
| Early morning Riser |
