Does anyone know what happened at Ellē? They posted this cryptic message to their Instagram a few weeks ago saying they were investigating allegations against an employee, and then recently they announced Brad, the head chef, was leaving.

A DC influencer posted a story about an incident from 2021.

I don’t know if anything ever came of it. It didn’t happen at the restaurant, it was an incident with an employee at a separate event.

It looks like she took it down. The basic story was that she was at an event (not at Elle or associated with it) and Brad, the chef from Elle, hit on her aggressively. She left and ended up sharing an Uber with him and he was aggressively trying to kiss her/hook up. And then texted her a ton that night telling her how much he wanted to get with her, and then the next morning texted that he had blacked out and apologized. She posted pics of the texts.

^also forgot that part of it is that he’s married. Regardless of what went down and how she felt about it, I think she got crap for posting it as having to do with Elle, since it wasn’t at the restaurant, he just worked there. Elle posted that he was suspended after she posted her story, not sure of his status there.
