My family loves to get Irish Soda Bread every 3/17 and we prefer the sweeter version. We are in a rut of what to serve with it. We eat it at dinner, but don't mind having breakfast food. What do you serve with it?
PS - We don't eat beef. |
| potato leek soup |

Butter and jam for breakfast
Cabbage potato soup with bread for dipping, for dinner |
| We have it as a side and do breakfast for dinner. That’s when the Irish eat it…. |
| Cauliflower soup from Skinny Taste. Delicious. |
This. Also butter. |
|
Do you eat lamb? That would work.
If we are having white soda bread with raisins, we have it as a snack or dessert, with butter or jelly, and can be nice with tea. With dinner we tend to have brown soda bread (which we also enjoy as a snack). |

With Irish butter…lots of it

Of course! I can't wait to break into it! |
| We're having soda bread tonight with a turkey shepherd's pie. It'll be good to sop up the gravy with. Oh, and Kerrygold butter... a must-have accompaniment. |
| pint of Guinness |
