If so, how is it? I'm pretty disappointed that the battery is so small. You can only get like 18 miles in EV-only mode. Plus, the hybrid engine nor the break recharge the battery! The European version has a battery that's twice as large.
What's the point of selling this vehicle? It's seems like the Q4 e-Tron might be a better car, but it's definitely smaller inside than the Q5 Hybrid. |
| test drove the etron and it felt like driving a Kia. |
Eeeeek. Lots of plastic? Felt cheap? I recently rented a Q8 Prestige - such a lovely vehicle, but a total gas hog. |
| I have an Audi Q5e arriving in a few weeks, and think you've underestimated this car. The 2022 model has an 18 kWh battery that some users are reporting 30-40+ miles electric range in city driving, which is where such vehicles work best. And then get upper 20s or better mpg on freeways, without having to worry about EV charging on road trips. Plus it drives well for an SUV: sportier than the Lexus and Toyota SUVs I've been driving. Good all around car, if you can get your hands on one. |
Thanks for this. Please check back in when you get the vehicle and spin it in the real world. What’s the wait time on your order? Paying above MSRP? Which trim line? |
| All the new cars feel plasticky unless it is absolute top trim level. I bought a toddler instead of an infant and it is solid as a rock. |
