Turned 35 Today

What should I expect during the later half of my thirties? Anything to remember or know? I am a woman, if it matters.

Enjoy the last 5 years of youth before you start questioning every decision you ever made once you hit 40. Midlife crisis coming your way sooner than you think.

Are you a Mom? Planning to become one?

Pregnancy and multiple losses during a pandemic completely wrecked my body. Since I'm still trying, I can't do much about it.

I laugh out loud at people who think 35 is old.

Congrats, OP. You’re right on the cusp of being old enough to be taken seriously. Not yet - but close.

Happy birthday! I'm 37 and the only difference from 33 is I'm now done having kids and I give fewer sh!ts. Remember to wear sunscreen and use retinol, other than that enjoy the rest of your 30s.

I aged drastically between 35 and 40, but I also had my two kids at 35 and 37. I went from looking like I was in my mid- to late-20's at 34 to looking like I was in my mid-40's at 40. Face, body, hair, all horrible. BUT, while I do think those are big aging years for women, I think having kids can age some women quite a bit, too, especially two kids within two years, and I had those two factors overlapping.

OP here. Yikes! I have not had children yet and this is what I fear too. 35-40 is when the rapid aging occurs.

Same. And I don’t even have kids. The 40’s have not been kind mostly due to ever fluctuating hormones.

You will be invisible and old and unattractive to all hot men.

If you're going to have kids, you better get on it now. You don't have a lot more time to do it naturally.

I just turned 39 and definitely look as good as I did at 35, but I was done with having kids at 31 and now I get better sleep.

I had a “reawakening” at 36. It’s been a fun couple of years.

If you don’t already, start taking skincare seriously!

Happy Birthday!

Maybe you. I started taking care of myself and am in the best shape of my life. Definitely not being ignored over here.
