Did you have it?
I have had 2 pregnancies and have 2 kids but never had implantation bleeding before. We are not trying to conceive and we do use protection. I usually have very regular cycles every 28 days like clockwork w heavy bleeding for 2-3 days and then lighter bleeding for 1-2 days more so total period length is usually 4-5 days. A couple days ago which was 22 days after my previous cycle (not expecting my period for another 6 days) I had a day of spotting on and off very light bleeding and mostly dark brown. Then it stopped. I don’t normally spot. Now I’m a bit concerned this could be implantation bleeding and I’ll test in the next few days if my “real” period doesn’t start. 36 so I think probably not perimenopause… |
| I had implantation bleeding, accompanied by sore breasts (not typically a PMS symptom for me) for my first pregnancy only. I think the implantation bleeding happened close enough to when my regular cycle was supposed to happen, although I wasn’t tracking that well back then (surprise pregnancy). Did not have the implantation bleeding nor sore breasts for my second or third pregnancies. |

I've had two pregnancies and it happened both times for me. It would be faint blood right around the time of my expected period, and bright red. But the difference is, it would happen for one day, then stop completely. That's how I knew it wasn't my period.
The only real way to know is to wait a few more days and then test! Good luck. |
| Both times I had it - just a little spotting and cramping |
| I had it with my first pregnancy. I tested negative on the 5th day before my period was due. The next day, I started bleeding. It was very light, but very red bleeding. It abruptly stopped the next day and I tested positive. |
| I had it with my first pregnancy (dark brown spotting) twice something like 10 dpo and again 11 dpo. Both times were accompanied by exercise- I went on the treadmill for a bit, found some brown when I next went to the bathroom, then nothing the rest of the day. Tested positive on 15 dpo (didn't test earlier). |
| Didn't experience it with either of my two pregnancies. The first sign of pregnancy for me was super sore boobs, followed by nausea. |
| I don’t know if it was implantation bleeding or what, but I had some spotting of old/dark blood right around the time my period was due, but it never really gathered steam and went away after about a day. That spotting is currently a champion-level eye-roller and door-slammer. |
| I had it with my second pregnancy. It was light and occurred when my period was due. |
