Odd bleeding

Sorry, this will be TMI so stop here if you will be grossed out.

In the process of a chemical pregnancy right now, and have been bleeding for 5 days now. All 5 days totally heavy and bright bright red. The thing that concerns me though is that it doesn't seem like a normal period-like consistency, it's SO liquid-y it's almost just like pure blood coming out, imagine a bag of blood in the hospital for transfusion purposes or something. And it's SO bright red - when I wipe, it's almost like someone took a red sharpie marker all over the tissue, that's how bright and liquid the consistency is. This is not my normal period at all.

Is this odd and should I mention to OB?

I seem to recall coffee ground type clots and lots of bright red bleeding with my chemical. It was red for almost a week.

I was on vacation when I had mine "chemical" bleed. Almost identical to what you and the other poster describe. I wasn't alarmed to the point where I rushed to the doc, but did make an appt to see her when i got back into town. Everything checked out ok. I wouldn't rush to the ER or anything, but definitely get checked out.
